A Day out in the West Cumberland
In mid-November members of the District has a choice, whilst some members travelled south to London, a large party of Brethren from West Lancashire made an early start to venture into the District of Cumberland and Westmorland set amongst spectacular scenery of the northern part of the Lake District.
Following a delightful journey through a colourful landscape, arriving at Cleator Moor with plenty of time to meet friends and share a welcome cup of tea together with a plentiful supply of biscuits, and a bonus of no mobile signal.

Leading the deputation was the DGP Paul Snape; also in attendance was the Dept.DGP Mark Barton as well as twelve members of the District.
The West Lancashire Delegation
During his address Eddie Crosby the District Grand Prefect for Cumberland and Westmorland thanked the members from West Lancashire for their valued support.
Members of East and West Lancashire
Following the meeting we were treated to a four course Banquet in the company of friends from both the District of Cumberland and Westmorland and other Districts visiting the meeting.
